During this unprecedented time, COVID-19 is impacting the safeguard of our families, friends and the businesses we rely on, forcing us to change our daily routines in order to protect the vulnerable, which we must do until this pandemic is under control. At LAVOCE the health and well-being of our teams and suppliers has been paramount in order to ensure their safety and to resume some normality and security back to their lives, and for our customers.
After managing the initial disruption of this situation, we are now very fortunate to say that we are ready for business, having full production capability in China and fully operational R&D and commercial teams working remotely in Italy, UK and USA.
What’s new
This has been supported by our recent investment in a new R&D center in Italy, which includes new office spaces, development tools and measurement/listening facilities, and strengthening our esteemed team of mechanical and acoustic engineers. Also, our commitment to invest in our facility in China remains strong with an additional pro audio LF production line and a new enhanced power test area becoming live in April/May 2020, and the implementation of a carefully managed stock policy to support the availability of popular standard products.
Latest additions to the product range
We know this year will continue to be challenging for everyone, but we still hope to inspire our customers with new and innovative products, such as the neodymium versions of our ‘next generation’ 1″ exit compression drivers (DN10.142, DN10.172M, DN10.172K), exceptional large voice coil 18″ and 21″ subwoofers (SAN184.50, SAN215.30) and a very new high performance 1.4″ exit compression driver (DN14.300T).
