We are proud to announce the addition of the SAN214.50, a new high power 21” neodymium magnet subwoofer, to our stylish die-cast aluminium basket range of products.
Using a 4.5” inside/outside four-layer high temperature CCAW voice coil, die-cast aluminium basket, optimised cooling system, aluminium demodulation ring, double silicon spider and a powerful and lightweight neodymium magnet motor design, the SAN214.50 offers an impressive 98.5dB sensitivity and a Program Power handling capability of 3400W. It is recommended for single or dual 21” vented cabinets and is available in 8ohm or 4ohm variants.
Talking about the design, Lavoce’s Product Director, Riccardo Abbatelli, comments, ‘The challenge with 21” subwoofers is to maintain the advantage of the increased cone area, whilst balancing the weight and stiffness of moving parts in order to ensure the subwoofers response remains dynamic and with low distortion, which we have achieved beautifully with the SAN214.5’.
