Business as usual

The coronavirus (COVID-19) is continuing to create uncertainty around the world and we share our deepest sympathies to anyone experiencing difficulty or tragedy from the virus. Our teams at Lavoce in China and Elettromedia in Italy are carefully following the safety measures set by each country’s government, and we are happy and fortunate to say that all of our staff are safe and well.

At Lavoce (China) we have been respectfully navigating and recovering from the impact of this situation and we are very pleased to advise that we are now back to full production capability, with a minimum impact to our standard lead times for new orders. The extended Chinese New Year and the time needed to recover and adhere to the statutory safety measures has meant that our existing order book experienced some delay, which has already been communicated to our customers.

Our R&D, development and commercial functions at Elettromedia (Italy), UK and USA are equally fully operational, and if and when our staff are asked to work remotely, they have full access via VPN thanks to a wide use of smart working tools within the company, so there will be no change to our usual response and service.

Looking to the future, we are also proud to advise that we are still on track to open an additional pro audio woofer production line and a new power testing facility in April.

We would like to thank you for you patience and support during this period, and we will continue to monitor the situation and update you again should there be any significant changes.
